"New Age" teacher Marianne Williamson, pastor of Church of Today in Warren, Michigan co-founded the Global Peace Alliance of New Age leaders with Neale Donald Walsch, another New Age guru who claims his "god" defines fear as "the thought system of those who collectively oppose (his) New Age concepts."
Walsch also said his “god” stated “the era of the Single Savior is over,” a direct affront to the Bible which reveals the single Savior who gave his life for the salvation of "whoever believes."
Marianne Williamson is completely devoted to systematically teaching "A Course In Miracles" on Oprah Winfrey's "Oprah and Friends XM Radio channel. "
"A Course In Miracles" is the compilation of revelations received through demonic channeling by Dr. Helen Schucman of "The Foundation for Inner Peace." The late Dr. Schucman, an atheist, claimed she "received" the three-volumes over a period of seven years, from an "inner voice" who named itself "Jesus Christ," and who told her he was going to correct errors in the Bible. Interestingly, Schucman spent the last two years of her life in "the blackest psychotic depression I have ever witnessed," said a psychologist who knew her.
"A Course In Miracles" systematically indoctrinates people into a New Age mystical mindset. The underlying theme of the course is Hinduism, disguised in Christian terminology. The course is very seductive, using Biblical terms and twisting and perverting their meanings with metaphysical New Age occultism. It teaches the heresy that "all roads lead to God in the end," a direct affront to the statement of Jesus Christ that "no one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)
Fear
Marianne Williamson has stated that the chief purpose of "A Course in Miracles" is “the dismantling of a thought system based on fear.” Reading further it becomes clear that she's referring to dismantling the traditional teachings of Biblical Christianity.
The Bible states, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom," (Psalms 111:10)
Williamson is committed to teaching the gullible that that simply is not true.
So! The Bible says wisdom is found in the fear of the Lord.
Williamson says it is not.
Who are you going to believe?
Williamson does, however, capitalize on the word "fear," saying that it is "fearful" and "unloving" to deny the divinity of humanity. She says it is "fearful and unloving" not to see everyone as "Christ." I don't know about you, but I am certainly not Christ.
Metaphysical gobbledygook
In her book, "A Return to Love," p.28, she writes, "If you go deeply enough into your mind, and deeply enough into mine, we have the same mind. The concept of a divine, or 'Christ' mind, is the idea that, at our core, we are not just identical, but actually the same being. 'There is only one begotten Son' doesn't mean that someone else was it, and we're not. It means we're all it. There's only one of us here."
So according to Williamson, there is no "only-begotten Son." But the Bible makes it clear there is ONE:
"He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God"
John 3:18
Williamson says WE are all God's "only-begotten."
God says Jesus is the ONLY-begotten.

Separation
Williamson denies our separation from God saying, "we cannot separate ourselves from God no more than the wave can separate itself from the ocean."
God says:
"But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear."
Isaiah 59:2
Who will you believe?
Subversion
According to Williamson, "We are here to participate in a glorious subversion of the world's dominant, fear-based thought forms." She chose well the word "subversion," because the aim of this "course" is the very subversion of the Word of the living God. And as Schucman before her, her end will teach her what the fear she denied is all about.
